Midcentury patchwork

R1,500

A small freeform patchwork made from leftover pieces of a patchwork curtain – these are the tiniest pieces of jewel toned linen I had leftover. I assembled them with my sewing machine into a small square and hand quilted it with cotton thread onto cotton batting.

The sides are left unhemmed, and the piece is mounted onto a pale blue board and displayed in a chrome second hand frame (included).

Materials: Linen and cotton fabric scraps, 100% cotton thread and 100% cotton batting
