Timeless pieces to treasure for a lifetime
Ever since I made my first quilt five years ago, I’ve been hooked on this labour of love. Quilts somehow feel hefty and weighty, and yet soft and delicate… Wrapping yourself in a handmade quilt feels like receiving a big hug.
Each quilt is made from either second hand fabric scraps, from the local garment industry and a natural fabric mill in Plettenberg Bay, carefully machine pieced with 100% cotton thread, then hand stitched with cotton (either quilting cotton or sashiko).
